# SoftFinity > SoftFinity Corp is a software consultancy, founded in 1999. Its healthcare practice integrates > read-only with EHR systems to consolidate patient records into a single > auditable system of record and match patients against vendor-defined clinical > and coverage criteria. It has production integrations with McKesson EHR and > Experity Health, and is an approved integration partner for PointClickCare, > MatrixCare, NIKO Health, and SEEK EDI. Outside healthcare it delivers > operations research and optimization, agentic AI, search and data platform > engineering, backend systems, and web and mobile applications. ## Contact - Office: 4444 Geary Blvd, Suite 202, San Francisco, CA 94118, USA - Email: rkagan@softfinity.com - Phone: +1 (877) 51-SEARCH (dials +1-877-517-3272) - Contact form: https://www.softfinity.com/Contact.php ## Healthcare data integration - [EHR Data Integration](https://www.softfinity.com/ehr-integrations.html): How the integration works end to end — connecting to source EHRs, defining qualifying criteria, and surfacing maintained qualified-patient lists. Includes the integration status table, architecture safeguards, onboarding stages, and an FAQ. Integrated and running in production: - **McKesson EHR** — read-only access with scoped credentials. - **Experity Health** — read-only access with scoped credentials. Approved, with connectors available and activated per engagement: - **PointClickCare** — read-only access with scoped credentials. - **MatrixCare** — read-only access with scoped credentials. - **NIKO Health** — read-only access with scoped credentials. - **SEEK EDI** — EDI and clearinghouse interface. Note this is not an EHR proper; it is listed because it sits in the same patient-data path. "Approved" means SoftFinity is an approved integration partner with the connector available; it does not assert that data is flowing for a given customer today. "In production" means the integration is built and currently moving data. Further providers are onboarded per engagement over whichever access path the provider offers (documented API, HL7, FHIR, or structured export). Adding a system is connector and mapping work rather than a platform rewrite. Handling and security properties, as designed and evidenced during provider security review: - Read-only. SoftFinity does not write back to, modify, or delete source charts. - Encrypted in transit and at rest; credentials held in a managed secret store. - Tenant-isolated storage; no tenant can observe another tenant's records. - Minimum-necessary field access rather than whole-chart replication. - Records and criteria are versioned and archived rather than destructively updated, so past state stays reconstructable. - Every patient match records the criteria version, the satisfying source records, and the evaluation time, so a determination can be audited later. Note on terminology: SoftFinity describes its handling as **HIPAA-aware**. This page does not claim HIPAA certification, SOC 2 attestation, or HITRUST certification. Ask directly for the current status of any formal attestation. ## Other practice areas - Operations research and optimization — supply chain, routing, scheduling, inventory, and pricing problems using linear programming, constraint satisfaction, and mixed-integer optimization. - Agentic AI development — autonomous agents, LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, and tool-integrated reasoning systems. - Data platform engineering — enterprise search, vector databases, and semantic retrieval on Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, and PostgreSQL. - Backend development — FastAPI, Laravel, Django, Rust Tokio, and Scala Akka APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. - Web application development — single and multi-page applications. - Mobile app development — native and cross-platform iOS and Android. ## Pages - [Homepage](https://www.softfinity.com/): Overview of all practice areas. - [EHR Data Integration](https://www.softfinity.com/ehr-integrations.html): The healthcare practice in full detail. - [Contact](https://www.softfinity.com/Contact.php): Contact form. - [Privacy Policy](https://www.softfinity.com/privacy_policy.html) - [Terms and Conditions](https://www.softfinity.com/toc.html) ## Optional - Legacy paths under /blog/, /archive/, /includes/, /controllers/, and /vector-master/ are unmaintained and are not part of the current site.
